*(WASTE OIL RECYCLING DEPOT)
Got Used Oil?
DON’T DUMP IT!
HOW BIG IS THE USED OIL PROBLEM?
Waste oil has the most negative environ-mental impact of all automotive products because it’s insoluble, persistent, and contains toxic chemicals and heavy metals. It floats on and pollutes our waterways. It is slow to degrade and evaporate. A small amount seriously contaminates large quantities of drinking water. Used oil placed on the ground seeps through the earth to contribute to leachate and contamination of ground-water supplies.
WHAT CAN YOU DO?
RECYCLE!!! Recycle used oil from cars, boats, motorcycles and all equipment.
HOW?
Take it in a clean, sealed container to the Osage Beach Waste Oil Recycling Depot.
